Welcome to Think Geography!
Think Geography is the web site of the Slemish College Geography department. You can probably see that the site has gone through a few changes over the summer and we hope that the changes continue to happen. We have plans to add a lot more content to the site. We will be focusing this year on adapting our Year 13 courses in line with the changes to the A Level specification. This is also the second year of implementation of the Revised Curriculum and we will taking a look at the Year 9 course.
In June, the school was thrilled to be awarded Specialist status for Humanities subjects and together with English, we will leading the school through the challenges that this provides us.
We are excited about the challenges ahead this year. It is going to be a busy year and some of the things to look forward to include a special video conference with the met office and plans for a trip to Iceland in June 2009.
