For many students this is their final year doing a Geography-related subject. For others is it only the beginning of their interest in the way that the world is organised and the geographical patterns that can be noticed across our world.
At Slemish College we study the NICCEA new specification for A Level Geography. Sept 2009 is the first time that we are teaching the new schedule for this specification so some of the information on this site will be a bit out of date and will be refreshed through the school year.
In order to complete A2 geography - all students must first have completed the 2 AS Geography units . Students then need to complete the following 2 units below. All exams will be taken in the summer term.
The 3 modules for completion are:
Module A21: Processes and Issues in Human Geography
Module A22: Processes in Physical Geography and Decsion Making

We do try to use a variety of teaching and learning strategies in A Level Geography but you will find that the teachers involved have a particular style of presenting the course to the students. Please note that not all of the classroom resources will be made available on this website. |
